Therapy Solutions
Spectrum Healthcare
Spectrum Healthcare's staff is well-trained and experienced in all of these areas. We will work hard to determine and provide the best treatment care plan for you.
Psychiatric Care
Spectrum Healthcare has a strong team of providers that offer psychiatric services. Our providers work hard to stay up-to-date on the latest research and medications available. Through medication management, our providers are able to help treat diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, bi-polar, ADHD, and trauma. We believe medication management when coupled with individual therapy allows the client to explore and experience additional ways of coping and symptom management. Additionally, we follow a comprehensive model to treatment, to provide our clients with the best care possible.
Individual Therapy
Spectrum Healthcare is committed to helping clients achieve optimum success in both their addiction journey as well as their overall mental health. Our extremely experienced counselors have many years in drug and alcohol counseling. We make sure that we get to know and understand our clients by taking all the right approaches. Whether it is our therapists or doctors they will listen to the client and hear what they say. Treating our clients by understanding them is what we do well and we think it is something that makes us stand out.

The types of therapy are vast. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all solution.
Types of therapy
-
Psychoanalysis and psychodynamic therapies. Patients learn about themselves and their motivations through interactions with their therapist. It’s also known as talk therapy.
-
Behavior therapy. This approach focuses on a patient’s role in their behavior.
-
Cognitive therapy. Cognitive therapy emphasizes what people think rather than what they do.
-
Humanistic therapy. This approach emphasizes people's capacity to make rational choices and develop to their maximum potential.
-
Integrative or holistic therapy. Many therapists don't tie themselves to any one approach but rather blend approaches according to the patient’s needs.
Every major area of therapy has many sub-areas. There is no right or wrong approach. Just as people are different, therapy is tailor-made to the person’s needs and situations.
How do I know which type works for me?

Those who are new to therapy seldom know what works for them. Like medication treatments, therapy may be trial-and-error progress. Be open with your therapist about what does and doesn’t work for you,

Road To recovery: Aftercare Group
Spectrum Healthcare wants to make sure that our clients have all the tools and resources they need to succeed. That is why we work closely with West Grove Clinic who offers an Aftercare group for patients who recently completed IOP or who are seeking additional support during their recovery. Both of these services are offered at the Kenosha and Milwaukee locations. The groups offer support to clients with maintaining their sobriety in a non-judgmental and accepting environment. Through honest and confidential discussion, group members can share their thoughts and feelings regarding their recovery as well as participate in various activities dealing with stressors of maintaining their sobriety.
